As per their MySpace blog, the Break remix of "Alibi" (b/w "Organiser") is set to drop on Critical soon, followed by "Taken" (b/w Ramadanman's "Organiser" remix). Watch out for their debut on Metalheadz, as well as releases on Subtitles, Exit and 31 Records, and I imagine they should be coming with pressure on Shogun Audio...

Spinlock "Inside The Mind Of A Madman": Here's a little exclusive I just got sent from Canada's Spinlock. You might've heard him from XO's Xposure Records; he's had some real life beauty going on lately, and has given me a sick four pack of his tunes to give to you for free! This cut in particular had me going; it's a remastered version of a ditty he sent out to a few DJs last year, but for some reason, no one really picked up on it. I don't know why, hell, I would've signed it to RTDLTD if I had known! It has a nice start-stop vibe to it, with a serious low-end on it.

The pack also includes the following joints for you to devour:

In an unexpected turn of events, I'm starting up a mix series for this blog! I had been wanting to do this for some time (featuring artist through mixes on DPD), and hope you guys enjoy this first act!

The first installment is from Perth's own Q-BiK, who is on a tear as of late. He's already released tunes on Basswerk, and has cuts signed to Vibe'z ("Because I Am" ft. HSD) and Planet Funk ("My House", which drops in March of 2009, and is featured on this mix), as well as getting some nods for work that will be announced at a later date. His cuts have gotten loads of radio love, including spins on 1Xtra by Crissy Criss, DJ Sappo & L Double, as well as Kiss FM Love from Ruffstuff, and spins from Bryan Gee on MoS. He is currently on an Asia tour, which saw him representing in Hong Kong and Shanghai (last I spoke with him, he was coolin' in KL), with a Singapore set broadcasting TONIGHT on jungle.fm, and a show on KRISISDNB (Singapore) on Saturday. His 8+ years of experience have been heavily championed in the New Zealand/Australia region, winning loads of accolades and awards. On top of all of this, he owns and operates Frequency Agency, doing artist management and booking for DnB acts like Shock One, Rregula, Phetsta, Greg Packer and many more! In essence, he has his plate full, and is ready for third and fourth helpings; once you hear the dancefloor mayhem within this mix, you'll be ready to take a bite, too!

DOA Podcast: Paradox

I'd been trying to get a Q&A with Paradox, and sort of threw out the idea of a podcast-style show, because I know he doesn't DJ. He said he'd do it, but I had no idea he'd hit me with a two-hour showcase, throwing in a host of forthcoming bits, as well as some first-airplay, world exclusive cuts.
